" Hello art lovers and welcome to my website. I hope you'll enjoy a little visual journey into my artistic endeavours. I've been painting professionally since around 1999 and even longer as a hobby and as a child. I grew up in southwest Louisiana and had a natural talent of drawing. I majored in fine arts in college. After graduating I switched career paths and went into the performing arts, all the while fine tuning my artistic style along the way. I enjoyed performing, but always felt that painting was my true calling. I like to work in many mediums, whether it is acrylic, oils,watercolor or pencil. I really love to use bold colors and strong contrasts. I get my inspiration from all walks of life ( Nature, travel, movies, toy collecting, stop-motion animation, theater, dance, fantasy art, children's books, greeting card art, comic art and museums). I also like to switch my painting style from traditional works to contemporay and even whimsical. "
